TARAKAN – Terbakarnya Speedboat Minsen Express di Perairan Pas Payau Kabupaten Bulungan pada Senin (25/7) lalu, menghebohkan masyarakat. Pasalnya kejadian terbakarnya Speed Boat bukanlah kejadian pertama kalinya di Kaltara.
Saat dikonfirmasi, Kapolres Tarakan, AKBP Taufik Nurmandia, melalui Kasat Polair Polres Tarakan, IPTU Jamzani menerangkan sejauh ini pihaknya sudah memeriksa 4 orang. Diantaranya motoris, Anak Buah Kapal (ABK) dan agen. Pihaknya juga akan melakukan pemanggilan kepada Balai Pengelola Transportasi Darat (BPTD).
“Kami juga akan panggil terkait penerbitan surat-surat atau dokumen-dokumen pelayaran apakah telah sesuai apa belum. Suratnya juga telah kami minta dari agen untuk arsip, karena yang di kapal itu terbakar semuanya,” jelasnya.
Ia menjelaskan, dugaan dari genset tersebut benar adanya. Karena genset cenderung cepat panas dan juga terdapat bahan bakar di dalamnya. Dikatakannya, untuk penentuan adanya unsur pidana atau tidak pihaknya masih menunggu keterangan dari BPTD. Nantinya jika terdapat unsur pidana akan ada penetapan tersangka dari rentetan kebakaran speedboat tujuan Tarakan – KTT itu.
“Menurut informasi sempat ada suara ledakan juga cuman belum diketahui ledakan karena Apar atau dari gensetnya. Kami gelarkan juga kalau ada unsur pidana, kita penyelidikan sesuai dengan kasus-kasus pada umumnya. Sementara ini kita dengar penjelasan juga bagaimana manifestnya, surat-suratnya, penempatan gensetnya,” tandasnya.
