Sebatik-Gubernur Kalimantan Utara (Kaltara) Zainal A. Paliwang didampingi Sekretaris Provinsi (Sekprov) Kaltara Suriansyah menghadiri acara pelantikan Pengurus Majelis Pembimbing Cabang, Pengurus Kwartir Cabang, dan Lembaga Pemeriksa Keuangan Kwartir Cabang Gerakan Pramuka Kabupaten Nunukan Masa Bakti 2020-2025 di Bumi Perkemahan Wisata Perbatasan Sei Limau Kecamatan Sebatik Tengah, Kabupaten Nunukan pada Rabu (29/12/2021) pagi.
Dalam rangkaian agenda tersebut juga dilaksanakan Pengukuhan Dewan Pengurus KORPRI Kabupaten Nunukan periode 2021-2026 dan Pembukaan Perkemahan Akhir Tahun Pramuka Penggalang Tahun 2021.
Perlu diketahui, Gubernur Zainal beserta rombongan tiba di Bumi Perkemahan Wisata Perbatasan sejak malam hari. Gubernur Zainal ikut serta bermalam didalam tenda ditengah-tengah tenda peserta lainnya. Tentunya ini sebagai bentuk menjadi bagian dalam kegiatan dan menambah keakraban dengan peserta pramuka lainnya.
Panitia Perkemahan Akhir Tahun Pramuka Penggalang, Aris Nur menyampaikan bahwa kegiatan perkemahan akhir tahun yang perdana dilakukan di Bumi Perkemahan Wisata Perbatasan. Diikuti oleh 416 peserta yang terdiri atas 298 Penggalang, 68 Pembina Damping, 50 Sangga Kerja dari 20 Gugus Depan yang ada di Pulau Sebatik.
“Dalam rangka menjaga protokol kesehatan kegiatan peran penggalang ini hanya diikuti 50 persen dari total jumlah peserta,” jelasnya.
Dalam sambutannya, Gubernur Zainal menjelaskan bahwa saat ini tantangan dan kondisi permasalahan generasi muda semakin kompleks. Menurutnya diperlukan peran serta berbagai pihak salah satunya peran dari gerakan pramuka.
“Dan sesuai dengan tujuan mulia pendidikan kepramukaan yaitu untuk membentuk kepribadian yang beriman, bertakwa, dan berakhlak mulia serta mempunyai ketaatan hukum dan disiplin, jadi modal spirit untuk terus berkarya dan berbakti,” ujar pria kelahiran Makassar tersebut.
Menurut Ketua Mabida Gerakan Pramuka Kaltara sekaligus penasehat umum Dewan Pengurus KORPRI Provinsi Kaltara ini perlu upaya untuk meningkatkan inovasi kegiatan dan materi pelatihan serta pemberdayaan kwartir cabang yang sistematis, terencana dan berkelanjutan.
“Saya berharap dengan terlaksananya pelantikan ini kita lebih memantapkan organisasi, sistem manajemen dan sumber daya yang mampu membangkitkan kembali gairah kegiatan kepramukaan di tingkat cabang,” harapnya.
Selain itu, ia mengucapkakan selamat kepada para pengurus KORPRI Kabupaten Nunukan yang telah dikukuhkan.
“Semoga KORPRI Kabupaten Nunukan dapat menjadi perekat dan pemersatu bangsa dan negara serta memiliki peran yang strategis dalam mensukseskan agenda pembangunan yang berkesinambungan,” tuturnya.
Gubernur Zainal juga mengingatkan bahwa untuk menghadapi kompleksitas permasalahan pemerintah ke depan, Dewan Pengurus KORPRI harus dapat meningkatkan profesionalitas sebagai aparatur yang menjalankan roda birokrasi dalam rangka peningkatan pelayanan publik. Termasuk dalam penanganan pandemi Covid-19, untuk dapat membantu mensukseskan program pemerintah seperti pelaksanaan vaksinasi.
“Saudara (Dewan Pengurus KORPRI, red) harus terus meningkatkan kompetensi serta menciptakan suasana yang kondusif bagi tumbuh kembangnya kreativitas dan terobosan-terobosan terbaru,” paparnya.
Proses pelantikan hingga pengukuhan ini berjalan lancar dan khidmat. Turut hadir Bupati Nunukan, Wakil Bupati Nunukan, Sekretaris Daerah Kabupaten Nunukan, Kepala OPD di Lingkup Pemprov Kaltara, unsur Forkopimda Kabupaten Nunukan, serta pengurus yang akan dilantik dan dikukuhkan.
