Saat dikonfirmasi, Kepala Dinas Perindustrian dan Ketenagakerjaan Tarakan Agus Sutanto menerangkan, Pemerintah Pusat melalui Kementerian Ketenagakerjaan akan menyelenggarakan program magang ke luar negeri dengan tujuan ke Jepang.
“Setelah berkoordinasi dengan Direktur Jenderal Pembinaan Pelatihan Vokasi dan Produktivitas Kementerian Ketenagakerjaan.
Beliau menginformasikan bahwa di Kementerian Tenaga Kerja ada program pemagangan luar negeri khususnya ke Jepang,” ujarnya, (9/6/2022).
Ia membeberkan, saat ini Dinas Perindustrian dan Ketenagakerjaan Tarakan diminta menyiapkan peserta minimal 200 orang untuk mengikuti sosialisasi. Sehingga pihaknya pun sedang mempersiapkan kegiatan sosialisasi yang biaya pelaksanaannya ditanggung Pemerintah Kota (Pemkot) Tarakan.
“Untuk penyelenggaraannya mulai dari seleksi hingga pemberangkatan ke Jepang ditanggung Kementerian Ketenagakerjaan.
Saat ini dalam tahap sosialisasi. Setelah itu akan dilaksanakan seleksi minimal 150 orang yang mendaftar. Seleksi akan dilaksanakan oleh tim dari Kementerian Ketenagakerjaan dan dari Pemerintah Jepang,”tuturnya.
Adapun untuk kegiatan pemangangan dilaksanakan 3 tahun dan bisa diperpanjang sampai dengan 5 tahun. Selama magang, peserta juga mendapatkan gaji. Tidak hanya itu, setelah mengikuti magang, peserta berkesempatan mendapatkan modal kerja dari Pemerintah Pusat.
“Besarannya seperti disebutkan 600 Ribu Yen, kurang lebih 70 juta kalau dirupiahkan. Saya berharap kesempatan ini dapat dimanfaatkan pencari kerja di Kaltara. Karena sepengetahuannya program ini belum pernah dilaksanakan di Kaltara,”pungkasnya.
