TARAKAN – Sat Reskrim Polres Tarakan berhasil mengamankan satu orang pria berinisial “MF” (21 Tahun) atas dugaan pencurian 1 Unit Motor dan 1 Unit HP. Kasus ini terungkap setelah penyelidikan intensif oleh pihak berwenang. Aksi kejahatan ini telah merugikan dua korban, dan pelaku akhirnya berhasil diamankan oleh Unit Resmob Polres Tarakan.
Kapolres Tarakan AKBP Ronaldo Maradona T.P.P Siregar , S.H., S.I.K, melalui Kasat Reskrim AKP Randhya Sakthika Putra, S.Tr.K., S.I.K, menjelaskan kronologis kejadiannya Pada Konferensi Perss yang dilaksanakan, Rabu 09 Agustus 2023,
Menurutnya “Pada hari Senin tanggal 03 Juli 2023 sekira pukul 00.24 Wita. Pelapor sedang berada di beristirahat , Pelapor meletakkan Hp miliknya di sebelah kiri pelapor. pada pukul 06.00 Wita pelapor bangun dan seketika mencari Hp miliknya yang sebelumnya pelapor letakkan di samping tempat pelapor tidur, namun Hp miliknya tidak ditemukan dan pelapor menyadari Hp miliknya sudah hilang/tidak. Atas kejadian tersebut pelapor mengalami kehilangan 1( Satu) Unit HandPhone dengan merk: VIVO Y21T, Warna Biru seharga Rp. 4.500.000.00,- (Empat juta lima ratus ribu rupiah), diperkirakan pelapor mengalami kerugian Sekitar Rp. 4.500.000.00,-(Empat juta lima ratus ribu rupiah) dan melaporkan kejadian tersebut ke pihak yang Kepolisian guna proses lebih lanjut.”beber kasat reskrim
Kronologis kejadian berikutnya terjadi pada Minggu, 23 Juli 2023, sekitar pukul 08.00 Wita. Pelapor mendapati motor Yamaha Jupiter Z miliknya telah hilang dari tempat parkir di bawah rumahnya. Pelapor sempat mengira bahwa orang tuanya yang menggunakan motor tersebut, tetapi setelah berbicara dengan orang tuanya, ternyata motor benar-benar telah dicuri. Atas kejadian tersebut diperkirakan pelapor mengalami kerugian Sekitar R 14.000.000,00, -(Empat belas juta rupiah) dan melaporkan kejadian tersebut ke pihak yang Berwajib/Kepolisian guna proses lebih lanjut).” Ungkap akp randhya.
Mendapat laporan dari dua korban tersebut, unit resmob sat reskrim polres tarakan langsung melakukan penyelidikan.
Setelah beberapa minggu melakukan penyelidikan, Unit Resmob berhasil melacak keberadaan pelaku. Pada tanggal 7 Agustus 2023, sekitar pukul 16.30 Wita, pelaku diamankan di salah satu bengkel mobil di Jalan Kusuma Bangsa Gunung Lingkas.
Dari Hasil pemeriksaan terhadap pelaku, dirinya mengakui telah melakukan pencurian 1 unit HP VIVO Y21T, Warna Biru dijalan aki babu Rt. 1 karang harapan dan melakukan pencurian di jl. Bakaru rt. 01 karang harapan dengan mengambil 1 unit motor Merk YAMAHA JUPITER Z Berwarna Hijau Hitam.
Saat ditanyakan oleh petugas pelaku “MF” (21 Tahun) mengatakan dirinya masuk kerumah korban pada Pukul 01:00 WITA, Pelaku membuka pintu dengan cara meraba grendel pintu saat pintu terbuka, dia melihat korban sedang tidur lalu pelaku masuk ke dalam rumah, dan mengambil Hp yang terletak disebelah korban.
Pelaku juga mengakui telah mengambil motor yang terparkir dengan kunci masih melekat, pada pukul 22:00 Wita pada tanggal 22 Juli 2023. Motor kemudian diubah warna dan tampilannya untuk menghilangkan jejak.” Jelas Kasat reskrim
Kepada petugas Pelaku mengaku telah menjual ponsel curian untuk memenuhi kebutuhan sehari-hari dan berhasil merubah tampilan motor curian agar sulit dikenali.
saat ini “MF” (21 Tahun) tengah menjalani pemeriksaan lebih lanjut di Mako Polres Tarakan. Atas perbuatannya, pelaku dapat dijerat dengan Pasal 362 KUHP dengan ancaman hukuman penjara hingga lima tahun.
Kasat Reskrim AKP Randhya Sakthika Putra, S.Tr.K., S.I.K juga mengimbau masyarakat untuk tetap waspada terhadap potensi pencurian dan selalu mengamankan barang berharga dengan baik. Warga juga diminta untuk segera melaporkan segala kejadian mencurigakan kepada pihak berwenang guna menjaga keamanan dan ketertiban di wilayah tersebut.
