TARAKAN – Unit Tim Animal Rescue Pemadam Kebakaran dan Penyelamatan (PMK) berhasil mengevakuasi 2 ekor ular King Koros di 2 tempat berbeda setelah menerima laporan dari masyarakat.
Saat dikonfirmasi, Kasi PMK dan Penyelamatan, Irwan menerangkan, sekitar pukul 06.30 Wita pada Senin (9/5/2022) pagi tadi, pihaknya menerima adanya laporam warga berlokasi di Jalan Wijaya Kusuma II yang melaporkan adanya ular jenis sanca atau piton masuk ke dalam rumah milik Berto.
“Setelah menerima laporan, kami langsung mengambil tindakan dengan mengerahkan petugas PMK Regu B Sektor Barat menuju lokasi keberadaan ular piton tersebut.
Kondisi ular ditemukan berada di samping kandang ayam peliharaan rumah milik warga,”ujarnya, (9/5/2022).
Lanjutnya, pihaknya melakukan proses evakuasi di lokasi kedua pada pukul 10.05 Wita setelah menerima informasi adanya ular hitam masuk ke kediaman warga di Jalan Gajah Mada, Komplek Pasar Gusher.
“Butuh 10 menit, ulat sudah bisa diidentifikasi ukurannya. Panjang ular sekitar 2,50 meter, berdiameter 10 sentimeter dan berat 10 kilogram. Diketahui, ular King Koros atau ular hitam tersebut dikenal sebagai ular berbisa.
“Ular tersebut masuk ke dalam gudang milik bapak Yusri dan petugas segera evakuasi dangan penempatan posisi duduk internal unit personel PMK dalam durasi 30 menit berhasil mengevakuasi ular tersebut,” jelasnya.
Lanjutnya, Tim Animal Rescue PMK TARAKAN selalu menerapkan K3 (Kesehatan dan Keselamatan Kerja ) dalam melaksanakan tugas ODNK seperti proses evakuasi ular jenis King Koros (ular hitam) yang berlokadi di perkarangan belakang rumah tepatnya area gudang penumpukan barang bekas.
“Butuh waktunya 1,5 jam selesai penanganan. Ular tersebut segera dilepasliarkan kembali di Hutan Lindung Gunung Selatan,” pungkasnya.
