TARAKAN – Lembaga Pemasyarakatan (Lapas) Kota Tarakan mengelar razia sebagai guna melakukan deteksi potensi gangguan keamanan dan ketertiban (Kamtib). Dalam razia tersebut ditemukan adanya telepon gengam yang dimiliki warga binaan. Sehingga petugas langsung menyita fasilitas komunikasi tersebut.
Saat dikonfirmasi, Kepala Lapas Tarakan, Arimin menerangkan, deteksi dini digelar pada razia kamar hunian warga binaan. Adapun pada saat razia, petugas melakukan pemeriksaan terhadap benda yang ada di kamar hunian. Seperti lemari kecil, dan bawah kasur.
“Pencegahan gangguan Kamtib dan mendukung pencegahan, pemberantasan, penyalahgunaan dan peredaran gelap narkoba di lingkungan Lapas Tarakan,” ungkapnya, (20/01/2022).
Dalam razia tersebut, petugas berhasil menemukan alat komunikasi yang disembunyikan oleh warga binaan. Dalam hal ini juga, petugas juga berupaya melakukan razia terhadap benda lainnya seperti narkotika.
“Ditemukan beberapa barang terlarang seperti handphone hingga powerbank. Sedangkan narkotika dan obat terlarang lainnya nihil ditemukan,” pungkasnya.
