TARAKAN – Saat melakukan kunjungan kerja ke Kalimantan Utara (Kaltara) pekan lalu, Ketua Komite III Dewan Perwakilan Daerah Republik Indonesia (DPD RI) Hasan Basri turut menghadiri undangan dari Majelis Ulama Indonesia (MUI).
Kehadiran pria yang juga senator asal Kalimantan Utara (Kaltara) ini untuk menyaksikan pembukaan Rapat Koordinasi Daerah (Rakorda) Regional V se-Kalimantan yang berlangsung di Kayan Multi Function Hall Hotel Tarakan Plaza, Tarakan (21/10/2022).
Rakorda dengan tema ‘Aktualisasi Islam Rahmatan Lil’ Alamin untuk Indonesia Pulih Lebih Cepat, Bangkit Lebih Kuat, dan Bermartabat’ ini di buka oleh Gubernur Kaltara Drs. H. Zainal Arifin Paliwang S.H, M.Hum, dan dihadiri Sekretaris Jenderal (Sekjen) MUI Pusat beserta perwakilan MUI se-Kalimantan dan kabupaten kota se-Kaltara.
Hasan Basri dalam siaran persnya berharap, MUI terus konsisten hadir ditengah masyarakat dalam memberikan kesejukan, pemberi edukasi, pembimbing dan pengawal serta solusi bagi masalah keagamaan, khususnya ummat Islam di Indonesia.
