TANJUNG SELOR – Realisasikan harapan masyarakat desa untuk mendapatkan penerangan, Pemerintah Provinsi (Pemprov) Kaltara bekerja sama dengan Perseroan Terbatas (PT) Perusahaan Listrik Negara (PLN) Unit Pelaksana Pelayanan Pelanggan (UP3) Kaltara, Unit Pelaksana Proyek Ketenagalistrikan Kaltara, serta Unit Induk Wilayah Kalimantan Timur dan Kaltara.
Kerjasama ini terwujud dengan peresmian pengaliran listrik pada delapan desa di Kabupaten Nunukan, dua desa di Kabupaten Malinau, tiga desa di Kabupaten Tana Tidung, dan satu desa di Kabupaten Bulungan sebagai bentuk hadiah Hari Listrik Nasional (HLN), Rabu (27/10).
“Jadi pada hari ini listrik di 14 desa dari empat kabupaten tersebut dinyalakan secara bersamaan. Khusus di Kabupaten Bulungan tepatnya di Dusun Tanjung Buyu penyalaannya dilakukan langsung oleh Gubernur Kaltara, Bupati Bulungan, dan Anggota DPR RI Daerah Pemilihan Kaltara,” ujar Suparje Wardiyono selaku Manager UP3 Kaltara.
“Di Kaltara ini desa-desa yang belum memiliki listrik akan kita upayakan untuk menjadi desa berlistrik secara bertahap, agar 100 persen bisa mendapat aliran listrik. Nanti setelah seluruhnya memiliki listrik maka akan kita kembangkan hingga ke dusun-dusunnya juga,” ujar Suparje.
Melihat banyak dukungan yang telah diberikan oleh pemerintah daerah dan provinsi, Suparje mewakili jajaran PT PLN mengaku akan terus melakukan yang terbaik untuk menerangi provinsi termuda di Indonesia ini.
“Kami dari PLN mengucapkan banyak terima kasih atas dukungan dari pemerintah kabupaten/kota, provinsi, serta lembaga legislatif dari DPRD Provinsi Kaltara dan DPRD di kabupaten/kota atas dukungan dan upayanya hingga PLN bisa membangun kelistrikan di kaltara dengan lancar,” bebernya.
Pada kesempatan tersebut, Gubernur Zainal A. Paliwang juga menyampaikan agar masyarakat dapat memanfaatkan listrik yang telah diupayakan oleh pemerintah demi kelancaran kehidupan sehari-hari.
“Pemerintah telah bekerja sama dengan PLN agar desa-desa dapat di Kaltara dapat dialiri listrik, baik dengan tenaga surya maupun tenaga diesel. Hal ini supaya masyarakat yang belum pernah merasakan adanya listrik jadi bisa ikut merasakan juga,” beber Gubernur Zainal dalam sambutannya.
“Saya ucapkan selamat kepada saudara-saudari ku yang sudah menikmati listrik untuk kepentingan di sini, selain itu terima kasih juga kepada Pak Suparje beserta tim. Mudah-mudahan PLN dapat terus bersinergi dengan pemerintah untuk menerangi desa maupun dusun di sini (Kaltara, red),” pungkasnya.
