Nampak Gubernur mulai mendengarkan cerita, aspirasi, dan keluhan yang diungkapkan oleh warga, sambil memberikan mereka kesempatan untuk berbicara secara terbuka tentang masalah yang mereka alami sehari-hari.
Gubernur Kaltara, Zainal Paliwang, dengan penuh perhatian mencatat setiap keluhan dan berjanji untuk berusaha maksimal dalam menyelesaikan masalah tersebut.
Salah satu keinginan warga adalah memiliki sistem siring yang dapat mengurangi risiko banjir dan meningkatkan sistem drainase di daerah ini.
Gubernur segera akan mengirimkan tim ahli untuk melakukan peninjauan dan kajian lebih lanjut terhadap lokasi yang diusulkan untuk pembangunan siring. Langkah ini diambil untuk memastikan bahwa pembangunan ini akan memberikan manfaat maksimal bagi masyarakat setempat sambil meminimalkan dampak negatif.
“Saya hadir di sini untuk mendengar dan bekerja sama dengan warga Tanjung Rumbia, saya ingin mendengarkan langsung tantangan yang warga hadapi. Tentunya, kita akan bekerja keras untuk meningkatkan kondisi hidup masyarakat dan memastikan bahwa kebutuhan masyarakat diutamakan dalam pembangunan sesuai dengan Visi Misi Kaltara yang Berubah, Maju, dan sejahtera,” ucap Gubernur Kaltara, Zainal Paliwang.
Kunjungan pribadi ke rumah-rumah warga ini mencerminkan pendekatan yang inklusif dan dekat dengan rakyat yang diambil oleh Gubernur Zainal Palliwang dalam menjalankan tugasnya. Ini adalah langkah positif dalam memastikan bahwa kebijakan pemerintah akan mencerminkan kepentingan dan kebutuhan masyarakat di seluruh Kaltara.
Selain itu, Gubernur juga memberikan arahan penting terkait kelestarian ekosistem sungai Selor. Beliau menegaskan bahwa menjaga keberlanjutan ekosistem sungai merupakan tanggung jawab bersama.
Gubernur Zainal dengan tegas menyatakan bahwa tindakan merusak ekosistem sungai, seperti penangkapan ikan dengan racun atau cara yang merusak lingkungan, tidak akan ditoleransi.
