TARAKAN – Guna persiapan pengamanan jelang Natal dan Tahun Baru (Nataru), Polres Tarakan akan menurunkan 440 personil untuk memberikan kenyamanan dan keamanan bagi masyarakat.
Saat dikonfirmasi, Kapolres Tarakan, AKBP Fillol Praja Arthadira mengungkapkan pihaknya akan menyebar 440 personil di sejumlah titik di Kota Tarakan. Khususnya pada pelaksanaan ibadah Natal pihaknya akan berkoordinasi dengan TNI dalam melakukan pengamanan gereja.
“Untuk menjamin keamanan selama Natal dan Tahun Baru, Polres Tarakan akan melaksanakan Operasi Lilin, untuk regulasinya akan diturunkan lebih lanjut,”bebernya Filol.
Dijelaskannya, operasi lilin merupakan agenda tahunan yang dilaksanakan Polri setiap akhir tahun. Sehingga pelaksanaan operasi lilin tahun ini tidak memiliki perbedaan yang jauh berbeda dari tahun sebelumnya.
“Nataru berpotensi terjadi mobilitas warga dan kami juga sesuaikan dengan intruksi Pemerintah tentang PPKM Level III. Kalau detailnya kami akan berkoordinasi dengan Satgas Covid-19 Tarakan,” terangnya.
Ia berharap pelaksanaan Nataru tahun ini dapat berjalan lancar dan sesuai dengan yang diharapkan.
