TARAKAN – Pemadaman listrik terjadi secara berkala di berbagai wilayah di Kota Tarakan pada Selasa 1 November 2022. Sehingga pemadaman tersebut menimbulkan keluhan masyarakat. Dalam rilisnya, Manager PT PLN (Persero) UP3 Kalimantan Utara, Aditya Darmawan mengatakan sekira pukul 03.00 Wita, sebagian sistem kelistrikan Kota Tarakan mengalami pemadaman yang disebabkan hujan lebat disertai petir.
“Pemadaman disebabkan oleh peralatan Volt Transformer pada coupler unit pembangkit mengalami gangguan akibat hujan yang disertai petir,” ujarnya.
Sesaat setelah kejadian tersebut, petugas PLN segera melakukan upaya-upaya pemulihan secara bertahap dengan manuver beban untuk mempercepat penormalan secara bertahap kepada pelanggan.
“Petugas melakukan replacing atau pergantian material, imbas dari gangguan petir kepada salah satu mesin yang mengalami shortcircuit. Atas ketidaknyamanan yang dialami pelanggan PLN UP3 Kalimantan Utara, kami memohon maaf yang sebesar-besarnya,” tandasnya.
